How to Make Quick Money in One Day

If you do a Google Search for how to make money with no money you get hit with a series of scams and courses on how to make money online easily, quickly and with no money.

These are all lies. There is always some money, effort or work that goes into anything. Passive income only becomes passive after you’ve put in the work to set it up and you still have to maintain it.

But there are a few ways to make money in a day without money, but it may still require an ability to travel and have an internet connection.

When I wanted to start on ebay I had no money to buy inventory. But there were heaps of free things available on Gum Tree (or Craig List not so popular in Australia) that I was able to pick up and sell. Some sold the same day, others took a few days, and some didn’t sell at all.

The cost of doing this was travel and time to list and photograph. Then there were ebay and paypal fees on top of that – so nothing is truly free.

Facebook marketplace is a great place to flip furniture and almost anything. This feels totally free but if you’re already on the internet then you can access Facebook. But to be on the internet requires money or access to a library with free internet, so almost free.

It is possible to go pick up furniture for free, put it on marketplace and sell it there (flip it). If you have time and a little bit of money you can repaint or fix up old furniture and then sell it. Again this requires some money and access to a place where you can do the repairs.

Another option I took was to offer consignment. Consignment is when you take the goods at no cost, sell them and take a percentage of the final sell price. I made about $500 in a month doing this and then was able to purchase more inventory to keep flipping it. Again I looked on Gumtree and found some deals on CD’s and DVD’s and bought in bulk and sold those. In 3 months I had $2500 and I was more than stoked with that.

So nothing is really overnight. You do need to know your market and where you can get things for free or really cheap and then know the market to sell to. This takes time and education. But once you do learn it, the possibilities are pretty much endless.

I’m in the middle of moving house so a lot of my stuff is on hold right now until I can work out where I’m living and what I have to keep and let go. Once I’m settled I will be doing this again a lot more as part of the $1-$10K challenge. So if you want to keep up with that and learn a lot about flipping and making money consider subscribing to my Youtube channel or keep an eye on the blog as I’ll be writing and doing videos about the whole challenge. I don’t know how long it will take but I’m hoping 3-4 months.

It’s very rare, but not impossible, to find something that is that valuable in one day. But if you know your antiques and collectibles, it is entirely possible and something worth spending some time learning. I’ve been learning it for a year and still feel like I know nothing so I’m trying to just hone in on one area and learn that one area really, really well.

If you become an expert in one thing, or two things, your ability to make very good money increases. You will be able to find deals a lot more quickly and make more and more money in one day once you know what you’re looking for. But it all takes time and effort. There is no magic pill, course or book that is going to teach you everything you need to know. If you’re not prepared to do some work, you’re not going to get anywhere.
